Mona Kuk

mona.jpgMona first fell in love with tango in 1995 and had to stop the romance one year later due to her then priorities in life.  She met tango again in 2001 and since then, she makes her annual pilgrimage to Buenos Aires and Europe to study with various tango masters.  Her training in other dance forms and yoga provide her with a solid foundation and thorough understanding in the principles and techniques of tango.

After leaving the corporate world, she dedicated herself to studying tango and yoga.  She is also a certified yoga instructor and an enthusiast in biomechanics.  Fascinated by the transformation tango has done to her and many others, Mona decides to become a professional tango teacher.

She founded Lead & Follow with Donald and started teaching in 2005.  She is well-known for her defined pedagogy and they were the first local teachers invited to teach in Shanghai, China.  She has been at the forefront of the development of Argentine Tango in Hong Kong and celebrates the joy of inspiring people to share and to connect with one another through the beauty of Tango.
