Argentine Tango

We hold regular classes for dancers of all levels. We also perform for events, custom design private classes and choreograph for performances and wedding dance.

Intermedio (Intermediate)

036.jpgThis course is suitable for dancers who have been dancing for some time, are comfortable dancing socially and competent with principles of bacis turns, ochos and sacada.  

We will explore the dance in greater details and work on interesting variations of sacadas, ganchos, barridas and lines of energy.  We'll find out more about space management and relationship between bodies as embrace changes.  You'll learn to dance with an embrace that shifts between close and open to allow the integration of various moves and styles.

Milonga Traspié

milonga.png These 2x1.5-hours intensive lessons are suitable for dancers who are competent dancing socially, or of intermediate level or above.

Set to a lively 2/4 tempo music, milonga, with similar elements as tango, is danced more accented and upbeat.  Join the class and learn to dance milonga in simple beat and traspié (double beat or even 3 in 2) with high-energy and fun-filled musicality.

Tango I for Beginners

Mona y Martin This series of 6 x 1.5-hour classes introduces the fundamental techniques to tango. 

We will help you build a solid foundation so that you can dance with your partner comfortably and with confidence.  You will learn to walk with the natural movement of your body and develop a good connection with your partner and with the music.  We will also cover etiquette and navigation skills on the dance floor.

Tango II for Beginners

Martin y MonaThis Course is suitable for those who have completed Beginners Tango I, Tango Preface, Introductory to Tango, or dancers with comparable levels of tango knowledge. 

We will explore the dance and the music in greater detail and work on more interesting variations of the basics, which include different types of turns, change of directions, tiempos, floorcrafts and the use of energy.
